I waited for a while for ideas for displaying kids art before I made my impromtu little laundry room art wall. Then, as soon as I was finished with it, and happy, Family Fun Magazine comes out with a whole article about the topic. Being that I loved the ideas, and I did have more art work, I decided to give it a shot in the playroom. It is badly in need or somethings.
We went to the thrift store and bought lots of wooden frames for under $13 and then came home and cleaned them up. As you can see, the kids were very excited about the project and helped. I then spray painted and hung them. The art can be changed out easily because it hangs on binder clips.
There are some kinks to work out, like the frames won't stay straight, and I'm not sure I like the color that the kids picked. (I do love to spray paint.) But, we had a great time working on it and the kids love to sit and look at their work.
