Jacob has been a Lightning McQueen freak lately. He would watch it everyday if I wwould let him. You can only imagine his delight when he found this pitt crew costume in his Cousin's Closet.

Your Gonna Miss This
This is for my sister. Your gonna miss these days...just maybe not this particular day.
This is also for my husband. Listen a little longer. I'm still your brown eyed girl.

Nativity
I found this box of Nativity peices and decided to put it out. Martin's Godmother, Jane, gives us new peices each year. She has said so many times that she choose the set because it was safe for kids to play with. She was right. ALl of our kids have played with them. Cece likes setting them up in the traditional manner, and Jacob and Jill like unarranging them.
Tiger Scissors and Goo
After watching me dabble in my scrapbook supplies last week, Jacob decided that glue, aka goo, was his friend. So on a trip to Wal-Mart I let him pick out some of his own supplies. What are the chances of actually finding Tiger Scissors? Now he and his pad of construction paper are busy all the time.

Suckers
My sister's son, Maddox, and Jacob are only six weeks apart. They are the best of friends. THis is a sweet little picture of them relaxing during our big photo shoot. They also love to wrestle, play cars, jump on the trampoline, and play legos together. I think they enjoy eating suckers together, too.
It's begining to......
It's begining to look alot like Christmas....and we can't wait. Christmas is a wonderful holiday for family, and Martin will be home soon after. Our first attempt at Christmas Card pictures yeilded this plus alot of average shots. We'll see how it goes. I just love this little snowman sweater. I bought every size when they were on sale, so you'll be seeing my kids in them for years to come!

Build-A-Bear
Last week seemed to last forever. In fact it was a Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Veryy Bad Week, and I wanted to go to Okinawa. So on Friday I dug up a bunch of gift cards from Build-A-Bear and we went to make some new best friends. Jacob didn't really buy into it until he could give his bear, "Mr. Turtle," a bath. We were there for quite a while. Cece made a Cheeta. I could not get Jill to show any interest, so I guess she'll get her first Build-A- Bear next time! (This week-much better.)

Game Day
Thanks to the generosity of others I was able to enjoy the entire Game Day experience Saturday. My dad and I started at the ESPN Broadcast. There were some pretty clever signs out there. We moved on and eventually found Christopher, Micheal, and Sara off of Nicholson. Later we went by the Ardion Tent for some fabulous Gumbo, Boudin and Beverages. Also comfy chairs and shade. Thanks to Kevin and Kurt for their hospitality. Thanks also for a whole season of answering my silly girl football questions. Don't worry, Martin will take back over next season. We left the tent just in time to see the cheerleaders, Mike VI and the band march down the hill. We then settled into the stadium for Frozen Lemonade and warm-ups. The first haf was fun. The second half was not. (Shame on you Les.) But overall it was a great game day.
I always hate to leave the kids, but they didn't seem to mind. Jacob went to Rusty's camp with Gina and the Buras's. My good friends Dana and Rod took Cece and there son Luke to Global Wildlife. Jill enjoyed all of Dee Dee's attention. Special thanks to everyone who made this a great day for us all.

Bounce House Meet-Up
Birthday Girls
This week Date Night became Party Night. We celebrated Jill's first birthday with the Dart's on Monday Night. Then we celebrated Laura's sixth birthday on Thursday. When Ashley and I get our kids together you have a ready made 6 kid Party! It'll be just perfect for Bar-b-ques and Backyard fun when our Daddy's come home. (Maybe even a real girls night out!)

Happy Harvest
Happy Birthday to Ya'll!
I just never made it to putting together a big birthday party for Jill. Granny was nice enough to let her share a birthday celebration with the twins (Nov. 1) and Pops (Nov. 5). We had a great time seeing everyone. My kids are always excited to see and play with Olivia and Vivienne Jill is shown here with her Nanny, Amy, who is looking particularly beautiful. Jill really didn't understand the presents at first, but I think she will get the hang of it by Christmas.
BEAT TULANE
On Saturday Cece, Bess, Jax and I went to the LSU Tulane Games. After a few snags, we arrived on Campus in the afternoon. We enjoyed the good weather and were happy to have Sara Braud join us for the game. There were atleast 2,008 people there, for sure!
The kids had a great time riding down the Indian Mounds on card board boxes.

Our Little Cupcake
Jill turned One on Monday, but we have been celebrating all weekend. Saturday morning we had cupcakes at my sister's house with our family. It is amazing that this year has passed so quickly. She is a sweet snuggly baby. She loves to play and climb. She especially loves playing outside with her big brother.

Trick or Treat
Cece was given the option of doing anything she wanted for Halloween. She decided that we would trick or treat with her old buddy Luke. She loves him so much. They will be getting married one day.
Jacob was the perfect little Nemo. Pictures do no justice. His little tail fin wiggled when he ran. Jill was also pretty adorable.

Fall Concert
The First Grade at Pecan Park Elementary school presented a Fall Concert. It was short and sweet and so much fun. There were two performance, and surely Cece needed a two outfits. The orange shirt and pumpkin tights were for the morning school performance. The red dress, the later show. Jacob and I attended the evening show. I was so lucky to have my old friend Mary Miller stop for the night traveling. She kept Jill for me. Cece had a great spot on stage and a great solo.
