Horticulture Center and Japanese Garden

Above, Jacob feeding the fish at the Japanese Grden. Below, Horticulture Center in Fairmont Park. Here Jacob, Jill and our friend Clyde are playng in the fountain.

Geese

Jill and I wondered upon this gaggle of little geese last week. So cute!

Dance Recital

I often wish I had the mad photography skills of my friends Malesa and Dana, or that I could atleast keep the camera cord out of the pictures. But I don't. Luckily I have some beautiful models that overcome my shortcomings.

This was our best dance recital ever. Makes me think tht my little girls are getting big too fast.

Welcome Summer

Welcome back summer! Oh, how we have missed you.

Natural History Museum

While the Natural History Museum is not always my favorite place in Philidelphia, it might be this summer, because my Jacob and his "city friend" Clyde love the miniture gold exhibit! Each whole is about a different ecological topic. I'm not sure Jacob learned much, but he got his first hole in one!

Strawberry Picking

Strawberry picking with Jacob's School friends at Linvilla. I had pledged never to go again, but it was not so bad on a week day, far from Halloween!

BFF

This is Jill's Brinton Friend Forever: Aubrey. They are real princesses, right down to the gowns. Aubrey's is especially fabulous and was made by her talented mother. Jill's is a hand-me-down, but she doesn't know any better!

They are sweet play friends who also like to get a little crazy sometimes! They (and their respective moms) are going to have to play their hearts out in the next 12 months, because the Brinton's will be leaving Philadelphia a year before us.

Swanky-Swimming Pool Party

Yes, as always, Jacob is surrounded by women in this picture. We would like to think that it is his winner personality, but really, all of our friends are girl heavy. One Day he will appreciate it though!

Our friend Lindsey kindley opened her home and her front yard pool up for a pool party in last weeks 100 degree weather. Here Melanie, Aubrey and Jill are enjoying their picnic lunch. Can't wait for it to warm up again Lindsey!

Longwood Gardens

My sweet friend Malesa and I now share a pass to the Longwood Gardens. So guess where I will be taking each and every one of you who comes to visit me?
It is beautiful and there will be many posts to come from this amazing garden. This picture is from Arbor Day (I think.) There was this awesome tree climbing experience that the kids could participate in. Jacob was not too happy that Cece was higher than he was!
